MOTION: Councillor R. Dowds

That the opening of the Barney's Lane Link Road be included as an objective.

REPORT:

A Local Road objective to provide a link from Barneys Lane to City West Interchange is included in Table 2.2.5 as a Six-year Road objective.

As stated under Section 2.2.38.i Policy T32 Roads Objectives “It is an objective of the Council to initiate works on the roads listed in Table 2.2.5 as part of a six year programme subject to funding being available.”

 MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION:

That the motion be adopted.
