MOTION: Councillor D. Keating

Under Landscapes, Natural Heritage and Amenities, Section 3, ref. 4.3.4 Landscape - proposed end of paragraph 4 to read "and the Liffey Valley."

REPORT:

Section 4.3.4 paragraph 4 states that “the extensive rural areas of the County include the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, as well as the flat arable lands to the west of Clondalkin and Rathcoole.”

The insertion of “and the Liffey Valley” is considered appropriate.

Manager’s Recommendation:

It is recommended that the motion be adopted and Section 4.3.4 paragraph four be amended to read as follows:

 “The extensive rural areas of the County include the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, as well as the flat arable lands to the west of Clondalkin and Rathcoole and the Liffey Valley.”
