MOTION NO. 228

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That on page 214 – 4.3.9 – Policies LHA23, LHA26. LHA27 & LHA 32 “within two years of the adoption of the Development Plan” be added and that the Draft Development Plan be amended accordingly.

REPORT:

It is the policy of the Council to carry out all tasks and actions as outlined in the plan. However the completion of these actions is subject to the resources of the Planning Department during the lifetime of the Plan, and as such a commitment of two years from adoption is not feasible.

Manager’s Recommendation:

It is recommended that this motion is not adopted.
