MOTION NO. 202

MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That on page 208 – 4.3.7 Policies LHA4 and LHA5 and on page 213 – Policy LHA20 have a provision that “a time limit of two years from the adoption of the Development Plan” be included and that the Draft County Development Plan is amended accordingly.

REPORT:

It is the policy of the Council to carry out all tasks and actions as outlined in the plan. However the completion of these actions is subject to the resources of the Planning Department during the lifetime of the Plan, and as such a commitment of two years from adoption is not feasible.

Manager’s Recommendation:

It is recommended that this motion is not adopted.
