MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That an additional Policy be added to Section 1.3.22 as follows: 1.3.22.xiii Policy SCR26: Location of Childcare and Pre-school Facilities

"It is the policy of the Council to facilitate and support through the planning process the location of childcare and pre-school facilities on the same campuses as Primary Schools, or adjacent to Primary School campuses."

REPORT:

The Draft Development Plan will seek to facilitate and support the co-location of childcare, pre-school and primary schools.

Manager’s Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Motion be adopted.
