MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That on page 67 – Policy SCR49, “and Keep Ireland Open” should be added after “Committee” on 7^th line and that the Draft County Development Plan is amended accordingly.

REPORT:

The Council endeavours to consult and co-ordinate with all relevant stakeholders and the Draft Development Plan will seek to achieve this through the rewording of the Policy SCR49 to;

Policy SCR49: Tourism Recreation

It is the policy of the Council to promote the use of natural tourism assets of the County for recreation purposes for both residents and visitors in co-ordination with all relevant stakeholders.
