NABCO Community Facility at Donomore Park

 

REPORT:

Previously, discussions have taken place at this Committee concerning progress on the change of use of the current NABCO Community facility at Donomore Park, Killinarden in the context of anti-social activity as a result of the building lying vacant for a considerable period.

The agents of NABCO have submitted pre-application proposals to the Planning Department in advance of making a planning application for the restoration of the community centre including residential units at this location.  The proposal is acceptable in principle to the planning department.

The draft plans are currently being examined by other relevant departments for comment and these will be communicated to the applicant in the coming week.
