Stones & Rubble on the Old Belgard Road - Roadstone

On foot of the original motion on this issue, a letter issued to Roadstone Ltd. to which a reply was received in which they have outlined their checks to ensure that there is no spillage form their vehicles as well as their cleaning procedures in the vicinity of Cookstown Road.

The local Anti-Litter Warden reports that, having walked the road from Cookstown Road junction to Kingswood View on the Old Belgard Road on recent patrols, the road gullies were free of any build up of stones/rocks falling from passing trucks and the road was clean.  He reports that the area is regularly patrolled and if any issues arise they will be brought to the attention of Roadstone as required or if witnesses provide details offences, they will be followed up as appropriate.
