QUESTION: Councillor S. Crowe

"To ask the Manager will he arrange for a clean up on the site of the  Traveller accomodation on Belgard Hill?" 

REPLY:

The development referred to in this report is now known as Belgard Park.  Staff of the TAU visit this development regularly and have reported that Bay No. 2  seems to be abandoned.  As a result of the abandonment unauthorised dumping is now taking place in the bay.

Abandonment Notice under Section 62(2) of the Housing Act 1966 has now being served on this bay and the TAU are currently arranging for a clean-up of the bay.  All residents in the development are being written to reminding them of their obligations under their Licence Agreement.
