DECLARATION OF ROADS TO BE PUBLIC ROADS

Hunters Road and Old Court Road (part of).

PROPOSED DECLARATION OF ROADS TO BE PUBLIC ROADS

 

The following report was considered at the Tallaght Area Committee Meeting on Monday, 27^th April, 2009.

“Statutory Notice has been given in the public press of the Council’s intention to consider the making of a declaration that the roads in the following estate,

Hunters Road and Old Court Road (part of), Tallaght

as set out in the Schedule attached, be public roads.

No objections were received. 

It is recommended that the roads be declared to be public roads. 

The recommendation of the Committee will be brought before the Council at its next meeting.”

It was proposed by Councillor J. Hannon, seconded by Councillor C. Jones and AGREED:

“That this Committee recommends that South Dublin County Council declare the roads in Hunters Road and Old Court Road (part of), Tallaght, as set out in the above report to be public roads.”

If the Council agrees to the recommendation, the following resolution is required:-

“That the roads referred to in the attached schedule be and are hereby declared to be public roads.”

Hunters Road	391m	Comprised of carriageway, footpaths and grass verges both sides, from its junction with roundabout on Ballycullen Road at Stocking Avenue, southwestward for 124m, to roundabout at Hunters Crescent, comprising of 65m, and then continuing southwestward for 202m to its junction with Oldcourt Road.
Oldcourt Road (Part of)	645m	Comprised of carriageway, footpaths, grass verges, and cycle track both sides, from its junction with Hunters Road, southwestward for 224m, westward for 93m, then northwestward for 328m to it’s joining with the existing road surface adjacent to entrance to sports field.
Oldcourt Road Footpath ‘A’	48m	Comprised of footpath only, from a point in line, where the existing road surface and the new road surface join adjacent to entrance to sports field, northwestward along the northern side of Oldcourt Road for 48m to its junction with the existing footpath at a point in line with the eastern boundary of cottage.
