Minutes The Minutes of the Economic Development and Planning SPC of 18th February 2009 were proposed by Cllr. Tuffy, seconded by Cllr Dowds, and agreed. |

Economic Development Strategy Emer O’Gorman, Senior Executive Officer, reminded the members of the presentation made to the February SPC meeting by Mr. Peter Byrne, Chief Executive Officer, of South Dublin Chamber, and invited comments or observations. |

Review of Development Plan Colin Ryan, Senior Planner, presented an update report to the Committee, and advised that further reports would be made as the Review progressed. |

Discussion on Enforcement Policy Martin Judge, Senior Executive Officer, made a report and presentation to the Committee. Following a discussion to which Cllr Tuffy, Cllr Walsh, Justin Byrne, contributed, Frank Nevin, Director of Planning, stated that a revised Enforcement Policy could be considered in the context of the Review of the Development Plan, and that a report on the matter would be brought to a future SPC meeting. |

Manager's Report on Innovation & Job Creation Emer O’Gorman, Senior Executive Officer, made a presentation to the Committee. Councillors Tuffy, O’Connor, Walsh, and Mr. Byrne contributed to a discussion and Emer O’Gorman responded to questions. |

A.O.B. Cathaoirleach Eamon Tuffy noted that this was the last meeting of the current SPC, and thanked the members, Manager, and staff for their work over the last 5 years. As Cllr. Walsh advised the meeting that he was not standing for reelection, Cllr. Tuffy acknowledged, and thanked him for, his contribution to the SPC over the years. |
