QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager for the latest position with regard to the Bottle Bank arrangements for St. Enda's Park and to outline what advances have been made on this project?"

REPLY:

To address the issues that have arisenand to improve the facility at this location , arrangements are being made for the installation of appropriate bring banks in St. Enda's Park following agreement in principle with the OPW for the incorporation of the existing site into their grounds.  As was previously reported, the Environmental Services Department are attempting to identify funding with a view to making arrangements with suppliers/contractors and for facility servicing.
