MOTION: Councillor C. Keane

"That this committee agrees to have 4 trees (requested for the past 10 years and intermittently since that date) at houses along Firhouse Road address  (address supplied)  --  Woodbrook Park and neighbouring houses.  This is a main road with lots of traffic. I would appreciate if they could be planted shortly as the request has been made for such a long time? Noting that Rathfarnham area has 10 extra trees still to be allocated this year as 10 inadvertently included on the Rathfarnham list which should have been listed on the Tallaght area list."

REPORT:

This location has been examined by the Parks Department and is already well planted with maturing trees which are regularly spaced along the open space and margin.  It is not considered in need of any additional tree planting.
