QUESTION NO. 2
QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave
"To ask the Manager could the footpath in the laneway at the side of 71 Idrone Park leading from Cremorne and Coolamber Park be raised and a rainwater drain be installed. This footpath area at the swinging gate is low and when there is heavy rain it is flooded making it impossible to walk through?"
REPLY:
Road Maintenance Section are not aware of any complaints in relation to flooding at this location. In addition, the area has been inspected and no evidence was found of low spots or ponding. The area will however be monitored to determine if a problem exists, in particular during the next spell of wet weather.
