"That the Manager outline what works can be done to stop motorcyclists driving through the bollards on the pathway at the end of Glendoher Drive leading to Taylors Lane, i.e.Could new railings and a swinging gate be installed?
Many children play in this area and residents exiting their driveways are taking their life in their hands as motorbikes scream by. This is a major safety issue.

REPORT:

Adequate measures are in place to stop motorcycles and bicycles from driving throught the blocked road.  However, motor cyclists are driving on the pathway. Driving on the pathway is illegal and the matter will be referred to the gardai for enforcement. 

A couple of additional bollards will be installed on the footpaths to make it more difficult for motorcyclists to drive on these footpaths.
