"That this Committee agrees that Grangebrook Traffic calming go ahead as promised and agreed - and written in minutes of deputation meeting of 22/10/08 confirmed that the design of the proposed Traffic Calming Scheme (incorporating Moyville, Pearse Bros., Palmer Park, Whitechurch, Glenmore Pk. and Grangebrook) would be prepared mid 2009."

REPORT:

The Traffic Calming schedule for the Terenure/Rathfarnham area is as follows:-

Programme 1

1 - Knocklyon/Delaford

At the Terenure/Rathfarnham ACM on 3rd March, 2009 the Committee selected the following five roads to replace the cell bounded by Delaford Avenue, Firhouse Road and Knocklyon Road as the No. 4 cell for Traffic Calming Programme 1:-

Coolamber Park (distributor road to Estate),

Orlagh Grove (distributor road to Estate),

Templeroan (entrance road to Estate),

Woodfield (entrance road),

Templeroan Lodge (from entrance to Doctor's surgery)

  Programme 2

2 - Moyville, Pearse Bros/Palmer Park/Whitechurch Estate/Glenmore Park/ Grangebrook

Due to the number of traffic calming schemes to be designed County-wide, it is envisaged that the draft design for the above 2 schemes will not be available until 2010.
