QUESTION NO. 2
QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren
"To ask the Manager what plans, if any, have the Council to prune the trees on Carriglea View as they have grown out of control and cause shading of homes on the road and in high winds are in danger of breaking as it has been a long time since these were pruned and could he make a statement on the matter?"
REPLY:
An inspection of the trees along Carriglea View has been carried out and pruning works are not considered necessary at the present time. Consideration will be given to the inclusion of this location for pruning as part of the 2009/10 Arboricultural Programme which will be ongoing between November 2009 and March 2010.
