QUESTION: Councillor S. Crowe

"To ask the manager will he arrange for the litter to be removed from the green space between Bookview Crescent and St Aidans bungalows?"

REPLY:

There is an ongoing litter/dumping problem at this location and it appears to be the case that the material emanates from local households but there has been insufficient evidence found by the Warden to support fines or prosecutions.  The area is regularly monitored by the local Anti-Litter Warden to check for evidence and to arrange for clean ups as required.  The area is cleaned by the Parks Dept staff and they have been requested to carry out a clean up by the Warden.
