QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager to inspect the trees on the open space to the rear of houses in Idrone Close, including No. 32, with a view to pruning them.  They overlook the houses in Idrone Close and are about 60ft in height?"

REPLY:

The Parks Department will endeavour to have the pruning of trees to the rear of Idrone Close included as part of the current arboricultural progamme which is ongoing to the end of March 2009 . However, due to the extensive programme of work to which we are already committed, if we are unable to complete this tree pruning request within the current programme, we will include it as a priority for the next tree pruning programme which will commence in November 2009.
