QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager if he will advise of the total cost of the complete Outer Ring Road project and the sources of funds for the financing of the project, including the amount derived from Development Levies?  

REPLY:

Expenditure to date on the Outer Ring Road Scheme is €142.5 Million. Monies received from the DOEHLG, NRA and DTO by way of grant was respectively €46.6Million, €7.0Million, and €19.6Million. The balance is fundable from the Council Levy scheme and amounts to €69.3Million. This is  not a final figure as there is still some outstanding expenditure relating to Land Acquisition yet to be resolved.
