QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

To ask the Manager to indicate if repairs have been carried out on footpaths on Suncroft Drive that are serious trip hazards as outlined by myself in the past - if no repairs have been carried out when the Manager intends to address these vitally important repairs before someone is seriously injured?

REPLY:

As members are aware the programme of footpath repairs previously presented to the Area Committees envisaged a phased approach to the provision of the upgrading works. Suncroft Drive is being considered for inclusion on the 2009 programme of footpath repairs subject to availability of resources and prioritisation of this programme in the context of other competing demands. It is likely that a phased response over a number of budgets will be required.
