QUESTION NO. 14
QUESTION: Councillor J. Neville
" To ask the Manager to have arranged the raising of the wall in the front garden at the side and front * details supplied . The resident is suffering from anti-social activity and it is my understanding that in recent times, such work was done on adjacent walls?"
REPLY:
The dwelling in question is being rented from the Council. Works were undertaken in the past at this dwelling to deter anti social behaviour and it is not proposed to do any further works as to do so would turn the property into a fortress which would not be in the interest of good estate management.
The following persons are involved in monitoring the situation at this property.
A. The Community Garda
B. The Estate Management Officer for the area
C. A local Estate Management worker who lives nearby
D. The Allocations Support Officer for the area, who, if he is informed of the identities of those responsible for annoying this tenant, will take appropriate action in accordance with the Council's anti social behaviour policy.
