QUESTION: Councillor C. King

"To ask the Manager to arrange for a fence or similar boundary to be placed between the rear gardens of (addresses supplied) and adjoining properties at Cushlawn Park where no boundary has ever been in existance resulting in children and youths using these gardens as a rat run to and from Cushlawn Park and Dale?"

REPLY:

The dwellings in question are rented from the Council and the tenants thereof are responsible for maintenance of boundaries in accordance with the terms of their tenancy agreements. 

The Council is not in a position to report on the boundary treatment originally provided for these rear gardens as the dwellings were constructed by Dublin City Council in 1982.
