QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"To ask the Manager to extend the double yellow lines on both sides of Marian Drive along all the houses of Marian Drive. This is to stop overflow parking from Rathfarnham shopping centre at Christmas shopping times?"

REPLY: 

If  SDCC extend the double yellow lines then there will be no parking allowed at any time throughout the year along Marian Drive which is a public road. Therefore SDCC do not recommend the extension of the double yellow lines unless there are compelling reasons for doing so.
