- A clean up of the area at the open space beside the Residential Caravan Park will take place late January. This will be organised by the Traveller Accommodation Unit, Housing Department in conjunction with the Cleansing Unit of the Environmental Services Department.

Litter Wardens will enforce the Household Waste Bye-Laws as required in this regard.
- Staff of the Environmental Services Department’s Anti- Graffiti Team will include the painting of the perimeter walls in their programme for early 2009.
- CCTV cameras will be monitored to determine the identification of any persons dumping in the area. If any evidence is found, offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible under the Litter Pollution Act.
- The Caretaking Staff assigned to the Caravan Park by the Housing Department have been advised to monitor the area and maintain a regular clean up of the immediate environs of the site.
A cross departmental on-site meeting will take place to review the level and any subsequent effect of dumping in and around the pathways and riverbanks. This will involve the Litter Warden for the area, Water & Drainage staff, and Parks and Housing Department representatives.
