Draft Policy Document on Part V

The attached draft policy document on Part V was presented to the Housing & Social SPC on 15/11/2007 and subsequently  to a joint meeting of the Housing  & Social SPC & the Economic Development (incl Planning) SPC on 14/02/08.  In addition a joint workshop comprised of members of both  SPC’s , officials and any other interested member of the Council was held on 26/09/08 to further discuss the draft policy document.

Input from the Terenure / Rathfarnham acm is now invited.

For the information of the members the following documents are attached;

• Draft policy document on Part V .
• Minutes of the Workshop on 26/09/08.
• Presentation re Part V from the Irish Home Builders Association.
• Presentation re Part V from the Affordable Homes Partnership.

Any input from the three area committees will be brought to the Housing & Social SPC.

The final document agreed with the SPC will be brought to the members of South Dublin County Council for final discussion and possible approval.
