CATHAOIRLEACH'S BUSINESS

"That the Manager report on the delay of the social housing project at Taylors Lane."

REPORT:

In March 2008 the Council made a submission to the Department of the Environment, Heritage & Local Government  for budget cost approval for the construction of 9 no. dwellings at Taylor's Lane, Ballyboden, Dublin 16. As requested by the members at the December ACM, a letter issued to the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, expressing the Committees dissappointment at the delay in receiving approval for the project.  The Department of the Environment have acknowledged this correspondence and indicated that a decision will issue shortly. The project will proceed  to Tender stage  when approval is received.
