QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane

"To ask the Manager when will the planting as promised adjacent to new bridge at Prospect Manor be carried out and wall painted i.e. Prospect side of Springvale wall?"

REPLY:

Planting of the area along the wall adjoining Springvale and Prospect Manor will be undertaken by the Parks Department in early 2009 as part of the 2008/09 Arboricultural Programme.  There are no plans to paint the wall as a combination of wall climbers and shrub planting is intended to provide adequate screening.
