QUESTION NO 9.
QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane
"To ask the Manager to meet with Hermitage Res Assoc. to discuss tree pruning/management issues in this Estate prior to any work taking place there and also (b) to state if the reinstatement and landscaping of the ground (open space area) inside the newly constructed wall opposite Nos 218 - 231 Grange Road has been completed to the satisfaction of the residents as requested previously by this Councillor?"
REPLY:
A meeting will be arranged with the Hermitage Residents Association to discuss tree pruning in the estate. With regard to the issue of reinstatement works, the Parks Department will monitor this location to assess the effectiveness of the completed works. At present the site is quite wet, but it has been seeded with grass which will not commence active germination or growth until spring.
