QUESTION: Councillor M. Ardagh

"To ask the Manager for an update on the proposed works in Templeogue House and to say when these works will be completed?"

REPLY:

The tender documentation is currently being finalised on this project and it is by the very nature of the building and the conservation works proposed a difficult and complex task.

It is anticipated that it will go to tender in January 2009.

Following evaluation of tenders and awarding of contract it is expected that work will commence in March / April 2009 and take approximately 14 months to complete.
