SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

QUESTION NO. 23
QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh
"To ask the Manager to list the sites enjoyed as public amenities maintained by way of a deed of dedication or any other means, but which have not been taken in charge, in the Terenure-Rathfarnham area, and will he make a statement on the matter?"
REPLY:
The Parks Department will liaise with the Council’s Planning and Development Departments in order to identify any sites maintained as public open space and enjoyed as public amenities which have not yet been taken in charge. This exercise is likely to take some time. A report will be brought by the Parks Department to a future meeting of the Terenure - Rathfarnham Area Committee. In the meantime, if the Members are aware of any sites which they believe may fall into this category, if they can provide details for investigation, it would be most helpful.
