COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF TERENURE-RATHFARNHAM AREA COMMITTEE (2)

QUESTION NO. 13.
QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy
"To ask the Manager to remove the trees at the edge of the boundary path, and the dilapidated fence which surrounds them, in St Annes estate and to landscape this small area of land with smaller trees and shrubs?"
REPLY:
The existing mature Leylandii hedge and the concrete post and wire boundary fence are not located on the public open space of St. Anne’s Estate. Therefore, they are not maintained by the Council’s Parks Department.
The hedge and boundary fence are the property of the adjacent landowner. Accordingly, their removal and any re-planting would be a matter for the adjacent owner.
