WHITECHURCH SHOPPING CENTRE (Examine under Derelict Sites Act)

REPLY:

At a meeting of the Terenure-Rathfarnham Area Committee on the 7th October, 2008 it was reported that the shop units at Whitechurch Shopping Centre were inspected on 19th September, 2008 by the Area Engineer to ascertain if there was any dereliction involved, as specified under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.

The Area Engineer reported that none of the units were derelict within the meaning of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.

Following the presentation of the foregoing report in was agreed to re-examine the shop units under the Derelict Sites Act and present a further report to a future meeting of the Committee.

A comprehensive report under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 is being prepared and a report will be issued to the December meeting of this Committee.
