MOTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"That the Manager carry out repairs to the footpath at Willington Lane at its junction with Willington roundabout directly behind Orwell Park Glade.  This footpath is prone to flooding and as part of such repairs that a heavy pruning be carried out on the overgrown brambles and bushes to the side of the footpath which force pedestrians to walk on the grass at times of heavy rain."

REPORT:

The footpath on Willington Lane was not identified by the county wide footpath survey as being in need of immediate repair. The overgrown hedge has been recently trimmed and no longer obstructs the path. Roads Department are not aware of reports of flooding at this location.
