QUESTION: Councillor M. Ardagh

"To ask the Manager to provide CCTV cameras on Limekiln Lane to inhibit motorists speeding at this location and in the intere we will be in a sts of the safety of the children and senior citizens who need to cross this road to the schools and church?"

REPLY:

We are arranging a count to find out the status of stated conflicts between pedestrians and motorists at this location ( see response to Motion 6 for this meeting). When we have the results of the count we will be able to decide whether further remedial  measures suitable or warranted. In the meantime we shall alert the Gardai to the reported instances of speeding in this 50 km\hr area.
