QUESTION: Councillor C. King

"To ask the Manager to provide updated details of the NABCO owned 'Community Facility' on Donomore Park which has been reported on twice this year but with no progress, leaving residents in it's vicinity to deal with the ongoing anti-social activity it attracts as a result of it being vacant?"

REPLY:

As previously reported Community Department agreed to set up / facilitate a meeting between NABCO and Planning Department who had rejected their proposals for change of use of their premises at Donomore.

The meeting in question took place in June 2008 and NABCO have informally informed Community Department that Planning Department requested that they revise their plans / proposals.

They have now done so and Planning Department are currently examining their revised proposals.
