QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon

"To ask the Manager to report on the provision of the Community Facility at Ballycragh Park, with an indication of timescale on commencement?"

REPLY:

The Council’s Architectural Services Department is currently preparing tender documentation for this project which is a lengthy process due to the project being tendered on fixed costs basis and also having regard to the “eco friendly” nature of the design of the building. It is hoped to have a contractor on site mid 2009.
