MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

This committee calls for improvement in cleansing and the inclusion of litterbins in the car park of Castletymon library.

REPORT:

The area in question was inspected on successive days by the Litter Warden who reports that the area is well serviced by litter bins provided by the proprietors of the shops with up to 5 litter bins in the close proximity to the library car park.  Additionally, the area is generally kept relatively clean but one "litter trap" has been identified and referred to the Cleansing Section for regular attention.
