QUESTION NO. 15
QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart
"To ask the Manager to replace the trees as requested adjacent to Beverly Court on the Scholarstown Road as the original trees were vandalised?"
REPLY:
In the past the tops of the street trees located in the grass margin adjacent Beverly Court Estate were broken off. The damaged trees have re-grown and will in time form standard trees once again.
The Parks Department does not propose to remove the trees in question, as they are healthy and re-growing well with strong main stems, which should deter any further vandalism.
