QUESTION NO 1.

QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to provide an up to date report on the progress of the appointment of contractors to carry out the renovation work for Templeogue House and is there a specific start date for the commencement of this work?"

REPLY:

The tender documentation is currently being finalised on this project and it is by the very nature of the building and the conservative works proposed a difficult and complex task.

It is anticipated that it will go to tender by end of November 2008.

A series of discussions are also planned during October and November with both the Templeogue Bridge Club and St Michaels House to discuss the proposal and deal with any concerns they may have regarding any disruption the siteworks may have on their day-to-day operations.
