QUESTION NO. 10
QUESTION: Councillor R. Dowds
To ask the Manager to outline whether or not spray-painting of cars is permitted within a residential estate and, if not, what can be done to stop it?
REPLY:
The carrying out of a business in a residential estate may require planning permission, depending on its nature and extent, and the degree to which it contravenes the zoning objective for the area.
All complaints of this nature are examined by the Planning Department's Enforcement Section, and where appropriate, enforcement action is taken.
