Report of the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting – 18th September 2008
Nominations to the Local Tallaght Drugs Task Force
The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee Meeting held on 18th September 2008 for consideration:
“The Tallaght Drugs Task Force has by letter dated 6th September 2008 advised this Council that operational guidelines have been developed and has invited South Dublin County Council to nominate up to four councillors from Tallaght South or Tallaght Central to take a seat on the Task Force, representing the Tallaght area and SDCC. A copy of the operational guidelines have been circulated.
The following proposal is now before the members for approval:
“That South Dublin County Council nominate up to 4 councillors from the Tallaght Electoral Area to represent Tallaght and South Dublin County Council on the Tallaght Drugs Task Force"” end of report
The following nominations were approved:
Councillor J. Neville was proposed by Councillor J. Daly, seconded by Councillor J. Hannon
Councillor E. Maloney was proposed by Councillor R. Dowds, seconded by Councillor S. Crowe
Councillor M. Corr was proposed by Councillor E. Maloney, seconded by Councillor R. Dowds
Councillor J. Daly was proposed by Councillor J. Neville seconded by Councillor J. Hannon.
It was proposed by Councillor G. O'Connell, seconded by Councillor J. Hannon and AGREED:
“That Councillors J. Neville, E. Maloney, M. Corr and J. Daly would represent Tallaght and South Dublin County Council on the Tallaght Drugs Task Force."
