QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh
"To ask the Manager to give a breakdown (either by Postcode or DED) of the number of students in Terenure/Rathfarnham in receipt of Student Maintenence Grants and will he make a statement on the matter?"
REPLY:
To date we have received 232 applications from the Terenure/Rathfarnham area. The following table gives breakdown per postal district of current situation:

The closing date for receipt of applications was extended from 29th August (date prescrined by Dept of Ed) to the 30th November and it is therefore anticipated that further applications will be received from Terenure/Rathfarnham electoral area.
