MOTION NO. 5

MOTION: Councillor R. Dowds

In the event of an incinerator being granted permission to operate at Behan's Quarry, Rathcoole, this Council agrees that we would not use the facility.

REPORT:

In accordance with an agreement for the provision of a waste to energy facility at Poolbeg, as outlined in the current Dublin Region Waste Management Plan, South Dublin County Council has contracted to supply waste collected by it to the operator of the facility at Poolbeg.
