To ask the Manager to detail the amount collected in parking fines this year and in 2007?

REPLY:

Parking fines (or penalty charge notices) are issued by the Council's parking enforcement agent in the following areas:

• Rathfarnham
• Clondalkin
• Lucan
• Rathcoole
• Palmerston

During 2007 receipts from penalty charge notices were €132,535

In 2008 up to the end of July receipts from penalty charge notices were €98,395
