QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to replace the yellow public street lighting with modern white street lights in St Annes estate?"

REPLY:

The Public Lighting Section are currently evaluating alternative sources of lighting e.g. SON, SOX and White Light technologies.  Once evaluated and assuming that white light is seen as the preferred option, St. Annes estate will be considered and further evaluated for the possibility of replacing the current SOX lamp with white light.
