QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane

"To ask the Manager for a report on the ramps/traffic calming to be provided in the TRAC area under current proposals, listing date of commencement - or approximate date for each scheme and road?" 

REPLY:

The present position on the construction of the remaining traffic calming schemes in the TRAC area is as follows:-

Scheme 1:  Dangan, Shelton, Muckross, Hillsbrook and Fernhill  -  design underway.  It is anticipated that the Part 8 Public Consultation Phase will commence early 2009.

Scheme 2:  Knocklyon Cell - cell bounded by Delaford Avenue, Firhouse Road and Knocklyon Road - scheme yet to be  designed.

Scheme 3:  Moyville, Pearse Bros Park, Palmer Park, Whitechurch Estate, Glenmore Park and Grangebrook  -  scheme yet to be designed.
