QUESTION: Councillor A. Shatter, TD

That an Garda Siochana takes such action as is possible to resolve the difficulties that have arisen for those living adjacent to *details supplied as a consequence of the property falling derelict and anti social behaviour of those who congregate in the grounds of the property drink excessively and engage in other anti-social conduct.

REPLY:

Gardai at Rathfarnham are aware of the site and the associated anti social behaviour. Recent patrols have detected Liquor Licensing Offences. Reports have been forwarded to the Garda National Juvenile Office recommending caution for the offenders. The District Officer in Tallaght has directed additional patrols into the area in an effort to reduce incidents of anti social behaviour.
