To ask for an update on progress being made to deal with the serious issue of drugs in the Tallaght area.
REPLY:
Continued attention is given to the “drugs problem” in the “M” District by District Drugs Unit. Covert and overt surveillance is carried out on a regular basis throughout the District. The following is a performance indication of the work being done

Intelligence is continuously gathered and analysed. Continuing liaison is maintained with the Tallaght Drugs Force. Every effort is being put in place to deal with the problem of drugs in “M” District.
