QUESTION: Councillor E. Maloney

"To ask the Manager when work will commence on the construction of the new St. Muirins House, Tallaght?"

REPLY:

The Avonbeg Phase 4 Scheme comprises the construction of a replacement Community Facility for St. Muirin's House, the refurbishment of the remaining existing block and the development of infill housing to provide 7 residential units.

In this regard, it is proposed to sign contracts on Wednesday 11th June, it is envisaged that the contract will start on site within 2 - 3 weeks of contract signing, i.e. first - second week in July.
